Advocacy’s role is to promote the individual and collective rights of children and adults with developmental disabilities.Advocates are trained to assist families on a variety of issues including decisions on education, vocation and residential living. Although advocates are not attorneys and cannot offer legal advice, they can offer a wide range of resources that include providing you with the necessary tools to become your own advocate.

We are in the Grand Rapids, MI area and looking for an advocate. Can you help with this? We have a soon to be 17 yr. old daughter who had a severe head trama when she was 2. Looking for some guidance and more resources.
Thank you in advance for your time.
